1. Who Can Use oneClipper
#
Plain English: You must be at least 16 years old to use oneClipper. If you use it on behalf of a company or university, you confirm you have permission to represent them.
These Terms are an agreement between you and oneClipper ("we", "us"). By installing or using our browser extension, website, or related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian agree for you, and be able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
2. Independence & Trademark Notice

Plain English: oneClipper is an independent tool. We are not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Microsoft or Google.
oneClipper helps you clip web content directly to Microsoft OneNote using your own OneNote account. We are independent: oneClipper is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation, Google LLC, or any third-party AI provider whose services you link. OneNote, Microsoft, and Google are trademarks of their respective owners.
3. Your Account & Devices

Plain English: Free use requires no account. Paid plans allow up to 8 active browsers/devices at a time. Do not share your license key or account across multiple people.
You can use the free plan without an account. A oneClipper account (email magic link, password, or Google/Microsoft sign-in) is required for paid tiers, cloud sync, and billing management. Keep your credentials secure.
Each individual paid license may be active on up to 8 browsers or computers simultaneously. Sharing an account across an organization or team to circumvent individual licensing is prohibited; we reserve the right to revoke active devices or suspend abused accounts.
4. Plans, Payments & "Lifetime"

Plain English: "Lifetime" means for the operating lifespan of the product. Payments are handled securely via our Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments). Card details never touch our servers.
Free: Provided as described on our site with no recurring charges.
Pro Lifetime: A single one-time payment. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service itself. If we permanently discontinue oneClipper in the future, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and preserve local offline extension functionality where technically feasible.
Pro + AI: Includes Pro Lifetime plus managed AI quota for one full year from purchase. After one year, managed AI access ends unless renewed; bring-your-own-key (BYOK) remains active forever with your Pro base.
5. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Plain English: You have 30 days to try any paid tier. If it's not right for you, request a refund from your Billing page for a complete, no-drama refund.
We provide a 30-day refund window on all paid purchases. Review our Refund Policy for specific instructions on requesting refunds through the extension or email.
6. Your Content & Privacy
#
Plain English: You own everything you clip. Your web clips transfer straight from your browser to OneNote. We never read or store your notes.
You retain full intellectual property rights to the content you clip and store. You grant us only the technical permissions necessary to operate the service (such as syncing presets you choose to upload). You are responsible for having permission to clip the content you save.
7. Shared Presets

Plain English: When you share a preset via a link, anyone with the link can import your configuration. Never put passwords or private information into shared presets.
Generating a public link creates an importable copy of that preset's settings and custom CSS. Never include private secrets or tokens inside preset prompts. You can revoke shared links at any time from your presets dashboard.
8. Disclaimers & Liability Cap

Plain English: The extension is provided "as is". If something goes wrong, our maximum legal liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months or $50.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, oneClipper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data. Our total liability for any dispute is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or USD $50.
